The Kooks

The Kooks is a Brittish music band that was formed in Brighton, East Sussex, in 2004. It's now formed by Luke Pritchard (vocals, guitar), Hugh Harris (guitar), Alexis Nuñes (drums) and Peter Denton (bass).
The Original members were almost the same as now, but the first at bass was called Rafferty, and the first who played drums was Paul Garred, who needed to stop playing due to a disease in his arm.
Their music is of the genre called Britpop or Indie Rock.

Their first album was recorded by a company called Virgin Records in 2006m it was called ''Inside In/ Inside Out'' it became a bestseller and it wan the prize for ''best artist in the UK and Ireland'' on the MTV Music Awards.
Their las album was released in September 2014, called ''Listen''.

Some of their best-known songs are ''Bad Habit'', ''Naïve'' or ''Backstabber''. They say their songs are influenced by The Rolling Stones, The Libertines or The Police's style.
