
She was the daughter of two progresists thinkers: William Godwin and Mary Wollstonecraft, who established the essential bases of her intelectuality and education. In 1814, with 16 years old, Mary left her home and her country with the poet Percy Shelley, who becamo her husband until 1822, when he died. Together, they had a son called Percy Florence.
She wrote novels as the famous Frankestein, which talks about a student of the occulted things and of his subhuman creation made uo from pieces of cadavers, and which has served as an inspiration for lots of movies and theatre plays.
She didn't gain much popularity with any other of her books despite she wrote a lot of them such as ''The Last Man' (1896), considered now as the best of her production.
She spent the rest of her days in the day-to-day way of living of the first mid of the XIX century.
